Hi!  I decided in August that I wanted to approach memory keeping a little bit different.  The 'standard' project life layout seems a bit overwhelming for me.  Like most moms, I am very busy with work, soccer, laundry, etc. and I just don't have time to scrapbook weeks at a time.

So, here is what I've decided to do and the goals I want to accomplish.

1.)  Create a album for each child plus one for Graham & myself (4 total)
2.) Create monthly layouts versus weekly layouts
3.) Album dates run August (beginning of the school year) through July
4.) Have fun and enjoy the process!

Here is Houston's August layout.  I used the Boys Rule - Project Life Value Kit and I absolutely LOVE this kit!  It is so BOY!  I think Becky did a great job designing this kit!

My layout pages will be front and back so that I will end up with twelve project life layouts.  Along with these, I will include one 12 x 12 layout page for each month.  I love 12 x 12 layouts.  They are probably my favorite because of all the white space which really shows off the photo.

If you notice, most (if not all) of my photos will be in black and white.  Of course, in the future I could always print color but I prefer black and white so the photo doesn't blend in with the paper and embellishments.

Hope you enjoy and have a lovely day!

For the love of pretty things - These are my Favorite Things!

Check out Heidi Swapp blog to see her latest products!  They are Fab!

I created a few envelopes using Heidi Swapps' Favorite Things line.  They turned out just great!  I think I will go mail some happy mail now! =)

Enjoy your Monday loves!

Hello Beautiful Sunday!

Maggie Holmes just amazes me with her beautiful collections.

As a memory keeper I am always looking for new products that really suit my style.  Then, I'm looking for ways to make them my own.

I wish we all sent more mail through the USPS.  It is a lost art and tradition.  I have created a few envelopes from Maggie's collection in hopes to bring happy mail back to life.

XOXO

Hi!
Hope you're having a wonderful Saturday!

Today marks the last Saturday before our kiddos must go back to school.  While I enjoy them being off I too enjoy routine and the fall weather.

I created this layout from a picture I took of my daughter at our local pond.  She has such a big heart!

XOXO
